Jaime DeRocker is originally from Oneida, New York. She started dancing at The United Academy of the Performing Arts with Sandra Fukes and Wende Warne. At age eleven, she began her formal ballet training with Delia Foley at Mohawk Valley Ballet. Ms. DeRocker studied at summer intensives including School of American Ballet, Chautauqua, Boston Ballet, and The Harid Conservatory. In 2007, she was accepted to The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. She graduated from the conservatory with the Level Three Dance Award in 2009. Upon graduation, she joined The Colorado Ballet Studio Company for two years, under the direction of Gil Boggs. From there, Ms. Derocker spent seasons with Ballet West and Nevada Ballet Theatre, as well as a guesting opportunity with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Recently, Jaime had the opportunity to attend Nederlands Dans Theatre Summer Intensive with a tuition scholarship. This is Ms. DeRocker's fifth season with Festival Ballet, and since joining, Jaime has enjoyed performing roles in Coma, Etudes, Surrender, Sharps and Flats, Agon, Nutcracker, Peter Pan, and many other ballets. In addition, Jaime is also pursuing a degree in Business Administration the the State University of New York.
